NAMI Signature Program Training

NAMI Austin is committed to providing no-cost programming as it strives to serve more families and individuals affected by mental illness. As the awareness of our free programs grows, so does the need for additional trained teachers, facilitators and presenters. NAMI Signature training is based on a national model which is structured, organized and led by state-level trainers.

All materials, meals and beverages are free. Applicants are required to submit an application and participate in a phone interview with a state trainer to confirm applicant meets required criteria to teach.

Applicants are encouraged to attend a Volunteer Orientation Session prior to applying to learn about the programs below and other opportunities outside of presenting, teaching, and facilitating.
